Amelie Shypilova

Amelie Shypilova (she/they) is a Vancouver-based illustrator, obsessed with everything books. She loves cats, creatures, and quirky characters with swooshy hair and piercings. She has been self-publishing her own comics for a few years now, wherein they strive to tell emotionally-nuanced queer stories by exploring all that is otherworldly and magical. While she’s daydreaming of making a full-length graphic novel, you may see her working on comics, picture books, and wherever the next story takes her.
