Maya Babeanu

Maya Babeanu is an inky pawed illustrator from the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh nations known as “Vancouver, BC”. She has a passion for storytelling and drawing, which has led her to work on graphic novels and video games.
Maya uses a mix of digital and traditional mediums; watercolour, ink and photoshop, to bring her visions to life. Taking inspiration from her unique life experiences, the natural world, and her favourite pieces of media, she aims to create a unique visual language full of whimsy and introspection that creates a lasting impact on the world around her.
