Shivi’s Studio

I’m Shivangi Singh (also known as Shivi), a visual artist and illustrator currently studying Illustration at Emily Carr University of Art + Design. My practice is rooted in storytelling and explores themes of nostalgia, memory, time, and emotional experience. Drawing from personal and cultural histories, my work often reflects on childhood, displacement, and quiet moments of introspection.

Working across illustration, painting, clay, mixed media, and both traditional and digital drawing, I embrace texture, imperfection, and experimentation as integral parts of my visual language. I’m interested in exploring the full spectrum of creative media and continually push my practice through new techniques and formats, including narrative-driven imagery, picture book and sequential work, as well as functional art objects.

Currently, my projects include designing and producing art prints, posters, and handmade stationery such as stickers, sticker sheets, washi tape, and memo pads, alongside small sculptural works like polymer clay keychains and clips. Blending playful design with careful craftsmanship, these objects bring storytelling into everyday life in tangible, interactive ways.
